Thermoplastic Olefins丨TPO-GB001
Model NO :
TPO-GB001
Thermoplastic Olefins (TPO) are a class of thermoplastic elastomers that are composed of rubber particles dispersed throughout a thermoplastic matrix. TPOs offer a unique combination of flexibility, durability, and resistance to chemicals, weathering, and UV radiation. They are widely used in automotive, construction, and consumer products industries as a cost-effective alternative to traditional materials such as rubber and metal. TPOs are also recyclable and environmentally friendly, making them an attractive choice for manufacturers and consumers alike. Overall, TPOs offer a versatile and practical solution for a wide range of applications where performance and sustainability are key factors.

Eco PP Material
TPO (Thermoplastic Olefins) coated fabrics have been used for many years. Due to its high abrasion
resistance, cold control, durability, and flexibility TPO products have used commonly in roofing
material. This product is made of Polypropylene (PP) knitted fabric coated by the TPO. Production
includes a polypropylene woven fabric, a smooth TPO coating layer is arranged above the
polypropylene woven fabric, and a dumb TPO coating layer below the polypropylene woven fabric.
Branch PP is used as a bonding aid to improve the bonding fastness of the coated layer to the
polypropylene cloth; the finished TPO coated layer has excellent light weight performance and
achieves. Coating with Polyolefin (A polyolefin is a type of polymer produced from a simple olefin as a
monomer. For example, polyethylene is the polyolefin produced by polymerizing the olefin ethylene.
Polypropylene is another common polyolefin which is made from the olefin propylene). This produces
high quality, long service life / aging resistance, low temperature resistance, waterproof, anti-mildew,
environmental protection and a recycling solution- the best replacement of PVC and PE tarp.

Continuous R&D for Customer-centric Development
Complying with FDA's Food Contact Substances regulations
Complying with AS/NZS 4020:2005 Standards – drinking water standard
Use advantages:
1.Excellent physical properties: Superior flexibility, Excellent Weather Resistant, Strength, Low/High temperature resistance (-50°C to 80°C) .
2.Non-toxic: Complies with FDA's Food Contact Substances regulations (better than PVCs).
3.Eco-friendly: Its base fabric is polypropylene (PP), which can be 100% recycled into pellets for reuse (base PVC tarpaulin fabric is polyester, which cannot be recycled- the only solution is to burn, which will release the toxins).
4.Light Weight: Compared with a PVC density of 1.40-1.45 or TPU density of 1.20, its density is only 0.88- 40% lighter than PVC tarp & 30% lighter than TPU tarp of the same thickness.
5.Anti-aging and waterproof: Its anti-aging and anti-ultraviolet properties are superior and will not deteriorate within 3-5 years.
6.Technical Strength: Highly Durable and flexible, resistance to chemicals, oil, and water.
7.Cost-effective: Width availability up to 5.20m reducing seaming costs.
8.Welding method: It is recommended to use hot air welding (temperature at 350-450c) Nb. we offer a free hot air welding machine for orders over 50,000sqm quantities.
9.Printable: UV or all compatible (Eco/Sol/UV/Latex) possibilities
10.Can be treated with market specific FR, UV, mildew resistance treatments.
Uses / applications:
Can be used as an Eco-friendly replacement for PVC, but specifically:
Re-use / Recycled packaging, Transport packaging, Bulk Containers, Oil booms, Flexible Tanks, Roofing, Sports Mattress, Drinkable water liners, Grain covers, Food Containers, Machine covers, Garden fences, Truck covers
